Carrying the theme of Community Empowerment with the tagline “Belonging, Resilience, and Thriving,” this festival invites filmmakers, students, communities, and NGOs to share stories of solidarity, compassion, and real action in building stronger, more empowered communities.

This festival is part of Inspiring Asia, an annual regional initiative that celebrates Asia's cultural diversity, spirit of innovation, and commitment to positive change through short films. In Indonesia, this movement takes shape through #InspiringIndonesia a cross-sector collaboration that brings together creators, organizations, and strategic partners to expand impact and drive sustainable change.

The best works from Indonesia will advance to the regional stage in Asia and have the opportunity to be showcased at the Grand Final in Manila , Philippines , opening doors to international recognition and becoming part of the broader conversation on social change. A. Participation & Eligibility

Who can support this campaign?
This campaign is open to supporters with an Indonesian (+62) phone number. When you support, you'll be asked to verify your number via a WhatsApp code to keep participation fair and trusted.
Why do you only accept Indonesian (+62) phone numbers?
This program is intended for the supporter community in Indonesia. That's why the country code is automatically locked to +62 and other country codes are not shown, so that no supporter enters a number that cannot be continued later.
Can I support more than one campaign?
Yes. You may support more than one campaign, as long as you genuinely know who you want to support and understand why you are supporting them.

B. How to Support & Community Vetting

What is “Community Vetting”?
Community Vetting is a support process based on genuine engagement from the community, not merely voting. Your support is counted after you have actually watched the film and completed the poll.
What are the steps for my support to count?
Complete all stages in order:
- Eligibility Check (phone number verification)
- Watch the film to completion inside the platform
- Complete the poll
- Confirm your support
As long as all steps are completed according to the instructions, your support will be processed for verification.
Are the campaigns on the project page shown in random order?
Yes. Campaigns are displayed in random order so that no semifinalist gains an advantage simply from always appearing first or higher on the list.

C. Watching the Video

How do I watch the video so that my progress is recorded?
Simply play the video directly inside our website/app. The video plays within the platform, and the system automatically records when the video has finished, so you can move on to the next step.
Can I exit to YouTube while watching?
No. The player still displays the YouTube logo/text (a mandatory requirement from YouTube for embedded videos), but the button can no longer be clicked, so you won't leave the platform. You only need to watch once, inside the platform.
Why do subtitles/closed captions (CC) appear, and how do I turn them off?
Because the films are shown as YouTube embeds, the subtitle/CC display follows each user's own YouTube settings on their device. If you find them distracting, you can turn off CC through your YouTube settings on your device.
Is the poll available in Bahasa Indonesia?
Yes. The poll questions will appear in Bahasa Indonesia if your app's language setting is set to Indonesian.

D. Support Verification

Is my support verified immediately?
Completing all the steps marks your action as completed. Please note that verification is a separate stage carried out through our review process, so the number of verified supporters may not update in real time.
Can a support that has already been submitted fail verification?
As long as the entire process is carried out by a real human and follows all stages normally, your action will be verified. A support can only fail verification if the system detects the use of a bot.

E. Technical Issues & Troubleshooting

My verification failed / the OTP code wasn't sent. Why?
The most common cause is an active VPN. Our security system automatically flags connections via VPN because their IP addresses are often shared by many people, causing the process to stall or be rejected. Please try the following:
- Turn off your VPN first, then try again (most important)
- If it still fails, switch to mobile data (not WiFi), because the IP is usually "cleaner"
This issue is not about phone vs laptop, but about the network/IP. Even on a laptop, it should work fine as long as there's no VPN.
I finished watching, but the questions/poll didn't appear. What should I do?
Please refresh the page or try the process again. If they still don't appear, contact us with the name of the campaign you watched.
